I began my career as a teacher, in search of pockets of time to indulge my passion for writing. (Hence my blog, Math with Bad Drawings.)

Now I’m a fulltime writer, in search of pockets of time to indulge my passion for teaching. (Most recently, at Saint Paul College; I also do a lot of speaking.)
